Description RV park
We would like to invite you to take a break at our alpaca farm.
You park very close to the alpacas, can observe them, get up and go to sleep with them. The animals are used to visitors, come to the fence and greet you with their big, round eyes. We have a 4-sided alpaca farm here and are conveniently located 5 km from the A4 Erfurt-Dresden motorway and 18 km from the A72 Hof-Leipzig motorway. The access road is well developed.
Please note that our parking spaces are only designed for 1 vehicle with 2 adults and 2 children! Since we have a slightly sloping site here, it's advantageous to have levelling ramps with you! Two wedges are ready here. The parking space is located between the main road (100 m away) and the Plauen-Dresden railway line (300 m away), but don't worry, passenger trains are quiet these days, freight trains are few and far between, and if a steam locomotive comes along, then that's quite an event.
The village has a pastry shop and a butcher shop that offers breakfast. Shopping facilities are available at the Auersberg-Center, 2 km away. Children and dogs are welcome. Dogs have free access to the area after the railway tunnel for walking.
There are restaurants nearby in Lichtenstein, Glauchau and Bernsdorf. A children's playground is 400 meters away.
Excursion destinations include: Oberwald reservoir Callenberg, Vorder- and Hinterglauchau castles, Miniwelt Lichtenstein, mining museum in Oelsnitz, Karl May Museum in Hohenstein-Er. and it's 5 km to the legendary Sachsenring race track.
If you have some time to spare, booking an alpaca hike or a children's program (carving a wooden alpaca and running an alpaca obstacle course with young males) or visiting our alpaca wool farm shop is worthwhile.
If you are traveling from north to south or from west to east, a stopover with us is ideal to enjoy a short break! We and the alpacas look forward to your visit!
