Description RV park
When you arrive at the fenced-in area, you will find 12 beautiful, star-shaped pitches for motorhomes up to approximately 8 meters in length. Every motorhome owner can choose their own spot. You will immediately feel at home in the small, lovingly designed square. Each pitch has a green area where you can set up your chairs and table, and of course extend the awning. Television reception is possible in all seats.
In the middle of the square, we have set up an information board for you where you can find all the important information about the square and Wertingen. To ensure you can find everything, there is of course a city map, cycling map and restaurant guide for every motorist. If you need electricity, you can plug in at one of the 12 sockets in the center of the square.
The illuminated square is quiet, yet everything is within walking distance. You can get bread rolls, groceries, and gas right next door. If you want to visit the city or our sights, you will have to walk for about ten minutes.
You can stay as long as you want; there is no limit to the length of your stay. Taking your four-legged companions for a walk is also no problem; you'll be in nature in just a few minutes. We just ask you to clean up after them. We have installed a bag dispenser for you in the entrance area.
For waste disposal there is a small building where the waste can be separated. The water supply and waste disposal station with ground inlet is located in front of the entrance area.
You can pay either in person; we come to the site every day early in the morning and in the evening. Or, if we don't come, or you are still asleep, you can also put the pitch fee in the mailbox by the information board. Suitable envelopes are available for you at the information board by the mailbox.

Description of the environment:
Wertingen is a small, picturesque town located in the heart of the Swabian Danube Valley. The Swabian Danube Valley represents the region along the Danube river from Ulm/Neu-Ulm to Donauwörth. The quiet parking space is located on the former railway station grounds. Trains have not been running for many years. All shopping facilities are within walking distance. The Zusam cycle path offers a scenic and historically rich route.
This 45-kilometer-long cycle path opens up the Zusam valley from Dinkelscherben via Wertingen to the confluence with the Danube valley, north of Pfaffenhofen. All tours are signposted and start in the city center.
The flat tours lead past bathing lakes, sculpture trails, Kneipp baths, beer gardens and many sights. A cycling map with various tours is available for everyone at the parking space. Just a few meters from the campsite and you are in the middle of nature. Discover the beautiful and diverse natural landscape in and around Wertingen.
Our museums are particularly popular: a local history museum, a radio and stove museum, and, uniquely, a beer museum. The tourist information office offers many other attractive leisure activities for our visitors. The charming little town has something to offer everyone: a heated outdoor pool and an indoor pool; for relaxation and well-being, a soothing visit to the Wertingen salt cave is recommended. A mini-golf course and pony rides complement the wide range of sports activities and events.

Turn right at the town entrance, then turn right onto the southern bypass.
At the Laugnastrasse/southern bypass roundabout
go straight ahead and then turn left at the next intersection into Donauwörtherstrasse. At the next traffic light intersection, turn left into Gottmannshofer Strasse and after about 300m, after the Esso gas station, turn right into the street "Am Bahnhof". After 200m the entrance to the parking space is on the right.
Coming from Binswangen (ST 2033):
At the entrance to Wertingen West, drive straight ahead, via the southern bypass road (ST 2033). At the Laugnastrasse/southern bypass roundabout, go straight ahead and then turn left at the next intersection into Donauwörtherstrasse. At the next traffic light intersection, turn left into Gottmannshofer Strasse. and after about 300m after the Esso gas station turn right into the street “Am Bahnhof”. After 200m the entrance to the parking space is on the right.
Coming from Rieblingen (ST 2033):
At the east entrance to the town, follow the signs straight ahead via the southern bypass road (ST 2033). At the next intersection turn right into Donauwörtherstrasse. At the next traffic light intersection, turn left into Gottmannshofer Strasse. and after about 300m after the Esso gas station turn right into the street “Am Bahnhof”. After 200m the entrance to the parking space is on the right.

Entering the north town, at the traffic lights, turn right into Gottmannshofer Strasse and after approx. 300m, after the Esso gas station, turn right into the street "Am Bahnhof". After 200m the entrance to the parking space is on the right.
