Description RV park
There is a centrally located yet quiet parking space for motorhomes on the city's market square. The city of Diepholz has designated a parking space for up to 20 motorhomes in a separate part of the public car park at Am Heldenhain 10, just a few minutes' walk from the city center. 11 parking spaces were paved in 2023, otherwise a green meadow is available.
Travelers with their motorhomes feel welcome here because they are fully taken care of: waste water can be drained away via a floor drain, there are enough power columns, and two columns for emptying toilets and drinking water are also available. A CampingButler enables contactless emptying and cleaning of the waste tank cassette. In addition, every guest receives free access to the Internet via the Wi-Fi hotspot there.
The directly adjacent playground invites children to run around. The city center with many shops and culinary offerings can be reached on foot in no time.

Description of the environment:
The region offers the Dümmer Lake, the second largest inland body of water in the state, the Wildeshauser Geest nature park with its watermills and windmills, as well as the lonely moors around Diepholz and Wagenfeld.
A trip to Diepholz is particularly suitable for cyclists. Diepholz has a well-developed 1,400 km long network of paths with several long-distance cycle paths. The regional trails include 4 well-signposted themed routes: the adventure tour, the goose tour, the moor tour and the sculpture trail. Or you can stroll on foot on the "Grafentour" through historic Diepholz and pass cultural sights such as the Old Town Hall, the Diepholz Castle - the city's landmark, the St. Nicolai Church or the cloth maker's house on Lohnstrasse. Also worth seeing are the Technology Museum in Heede and the Aschen Local History Museum. You can also learn interesting facts about the moor habitat on the moor adventure trail on the outskirts of the city or on the moor footbridge in the Aschener Moor. Three new hiking routes invite you to take interesting walks.
