  • Description of the environment: This charming little regional campsite is located right next to the beautiful Mohrmühlweiher pond, just outside the small town of Waldmohr. Adjacent to the campsite is a very popular restaurant, the "Fischerhütte" (Fisherman's Hut). Here, you can sit on the outdoor terrace and enjoy the sunset. The campsite is the starting point for the popular and scenic Glan-Blies cycle path. In addition, there are numerous other cycle paths and walking trails around Waldmohr. The small town of Waldmohr, with its 6,000 inhabitants, is easily accessible on foot from the campsite. It lies between the beautiful Palatinate Uplands and the Saarland border. Here you'll find traditional crafts, bakeries, a butcher shop, and, of course, supermarkets.
