Description RV park
For motorhome owners, the town of Pressig recently set up a motorhome parking space in Rothenkirchen. Through the initiative of Heinz Zapf and with the support of the "Freier Wohnmobilclub Kassel" (Free Motorhome Club Kassel), the Pressig municipality was able to create the necessary facilities for motorhomes. The trade magazine "pro mobil" featured Pressig as "Municipality of the Month" in its December 2000 issue. In the March 2025 issue of the trade magazine "pro mobil," our motorhome parking space was featured as a "TOP Site 2025." The graveled site can accommodate approximately twenty vehicles on 0.3 hectares. Described as the first parking space in the beautiful Franconian Forest, the quiet location and the opportunity to embark on various tours from here are highlighted. In addition to a variety of beautiful cycling and hiking trails, the Landleitenbach Valley, idyllically nestled in nature, offers a wealth of recreational opportunities. Our active fitness area provides variety. Cycling tours in a natural landscape with culture are a special experience.
