Description of the environment:
The historic Berching in the Altmühl Nature Park is located in the picturesque Sulztal.
The Sulz flows into the Altmühl in Beilngries.
The medieval town center with its beautiful market square, the magnificent town houses and the winding streets along the completely preserved city wall from the 15th century invite you to linger and dream.
Our Gluck and local history museum is located between the two historic districts, directly on the Sulz. The composer Christoph W. Gluck was born in the Erasbach district of Berching in 1714. Entry to the museum is free.
The Plankstetten Monastery (5 km south of Berching) offers a rich excursion program with its baroque abbey church, the monastery tavern, the monastery shop with products from organic farming and various exhibitions.
Excursion destinations such as B. the Palatine town of Neumarkt i.d.Opf, the episcopal towns of Eichstätt and Regensburg and also the ducal town of Kelheim with a boat trip through the unique Danube gorge to Weltenburg Monastery will delight you.
There are also numerous signposted cycling and hiking trails around Berching that entice cyclists and hikers into nature. Whether sporty over the Jura heights or leisurely in the valley area, there is something for everyone. Or maybe just unwind with a nice walk through our wonderful mixed forests.

Sehr geehrte Frau L. wir freuen uns über Ihr Interesse, auf unserem Wohnmobilstellplatz zu übernachten. Aktuell ist unser Platz bis auf Weiteres gesperrt (Schranke). Unser Platz hat nur einen Parkautomaten. Es ist kein Personal vor Ort, welches die von der Regierung vorgeschriebenen Corona-Negativtests der Gäste kontrolliert, bleibt er geschlossen. Sobald die Testpflicht wegfällt, werden wir unseren Platz wieder öffnen.
