Description RV park
The Bad Urach motorhome site is located in the idyllic Maisental valley and is the ideal starting point for hikes in the UNESCO Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve or for a stroll through the historic half-timbered town center. The AlbThermen spa is a 10-minute walk away. A train and bus stop are located nearby.
Approximately 15 pitches for motorhomes with electricity hook-ups. Price per night: €13 including electricity, waste disposal, and visitor's tax. Open year-round.
An information pack about Bad Urach is available during opening hours at the spa administration office or outside of opening hours at the AlbThermen spa.
PLEASE NOTE: During September 2026, access to the Maisental valley will be completely closed for one week due to construction work. The motorhome site cannot be accessed or exited during this time. Please take this into account when planning your holiday. We will provide further information here as soon as the exact dates are available.

Description of the environment:
Our motorhome parking space is located in the UNESCO biosphere reserve at the foot of the Swabian Alb. From there you have a wonderful view of the Hohenurach castle ruins and the impressive hillside and ravine forests of the Swabian Alb. A special attraction is the central location to the AlbThermen as well as the Urach waterfall and the premium hiking trails, the Grafenstieg.
In 2016, the Wasserfallsteig was named Germany's most beautiful hiking trail.

Ich war letztes Jahr auf dem Platz. Leider hatte ich keinen WLan-empfang, brauche es beruflich. Ist dies jetzt besser?

Guten Tag Herr D., vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage. In der Regel gibt es kostenloses WLAN auf unserem Wohnmobilstellplatz, welches auch funktioniert. Natürlich können wir nie vollständig ausschließen, dass das WLAN aus verschiedensten Gründen (z. B. auch Wartungsarbeiten durch die Netzbetreiber) stört oder ausfällt. Vielleicht war dies bei Ihrem letzten Besuch leider der Fall. Dann können auch wir gegen den Ausfall wenig ausrichten. In der Regel können wir aber bei kleineren Ausfällen das Problem relativ schnell beheben. Ich hoffe ich konnte Ihnen weiterhelfen. Für Rückfragen stehe ich Ihnen gerne zur Verfügung.
