Description RV park
Østerbø Fjellstove (820 m above sea level) is located in the municipality of Aurland in the province of Vestland. Fjellstova is idyllically located on the Aurdalsvatnet in the middle of the beautiful Aurlandsdalen, near the county road 50 Aurland – Hol. This is one of the main roads between Oslo and Bergen, and it is not far from the Nærøyfjorden World Heritage Area, the Sognefjord, Flåm with the Flåmsbanen, Stegastein and the Borgund Stave Church. Østerbø Fjellstove has roots going back to the 17th century. Today it is a modern mountain oven with most facilities, where new and old are in fine harmony.
We have a diverse range of accommodation offerings from hotel rooms, cabins, apartments to mountain hut rooms with DNT rates and camping. Own course and conference department.
Season 2023: Kitchen is open from May to October 15th. Our 4 apartments and some of the small cabins can be rented all year round.

The location in the middle of Aurlandsdal offers exciting nature experiences. You can plan day trips according to your mood. There can be high mountain tours with hiking on glaciers, fishing in mountain lakes, hiking on marked/unmarked trails or choosing the ancient crevasse trails.
Østerbø Fjellstove is the starting point for the hike from Østerbø to Vassbygdi. This is the final stage of DNT's three-day hike through the Aurlandsdalen, starting in Finse. You can choose to walk from cabin to cabin or use us as a starting point for daily stages.
