Many other people think the same way and of course want to have their loyal four-legged friend with them on all their trips. This is often the reason why a motorhome is bought or rented. It is not uncommon for the motorhome to be modified slightly so that your four-legged friend has a really good time while traveling.

Although dogs are allowed on many sites, the facilities are anything but dog-friendly. A truly dog-friendly parking space offers exercise areas and walking opportunities nearby and dispensers for dog waste bags. Some camping and RV facilities even have dog showers or a lake or beach area where dogs are welcome.

Wulfener Hals mobile home park
Fehmarn is perfect for holidays with dogs. Long Baltic Sea beaches where you can go for a walk. In some places dogs are even allowed to run free. An Eldorado for four-legged friends! Owners and mistresses also get their money's worth: all the facilities of the 5-star Wulfener Hals holiday park, which is next door, can be used without restriction. Of course, service facilities such as modern sanitary facilities, fresh water and gray water disposal are available.
Whether for a long weekend or a longer vacation – the Twistesee motorhome harbor is recommended for both. Water is always a draw for RV enthusiasts; for many of the beloved four-legged friends anyway. The Twistesee motorhome harbor even has its own dog beach. The neighboring forest as well as the meadows and fields nearby provide the necessary exercise. It's just a few meters walk to the next town along the lake, whether for a stroll or shopping.

If you want to make your stay active, the pitch in Grafenau is the right place for you. Located directly at the Grafenau community's spa and adventure park, it not only offers plenty of exercise for four-legged friends - but also a lot of activities for young and old. There is a lot to experience for every age group, from the skateboard facility to the outdoor pool with a giant slide to the ice rink in winter…
The guest card for the health resort is included in the pitch price of around 10 euros. This means you can benefit from reduced admission prices or travel cheaply by bus and train. Only the tourist tax has to be paid separately. Service and disposal options are available on the mobile home parking space - just no sanitary facilities.
Motorhome camp lake and forest resort Gröbern
Located between Magdeburg and Leipzig, the See- und Waldresort Gröbern mobile home camp offers the perfect starting point for exploring eastern Germany. The area, rich in forests and water, is ideal for owners of four-legged family friends. Short paths to the exercise area in the forest and a private dog beach on the lake leave nothing to be desired here either. Access to the animal enclosure with around 60 animals is permitted with dogs on a leash. From guinea pigs to Highland cattle, you can admire a number of animals here. A visit to the orchards and the snack garden is a little highlight for children. “Stealing fruit” is expressly encouraged here. Brand new sanitary facilities round off the many services for motorhome owners. There is a bread delivery service in the adjacent hotel. The barbecue area, the beach bistro and the forest restaurant ensure your physical well-being. The Gröbener Seekate spoils its guests in the farm shop with delicious fish specialties made in-house. The fish come fresh from the nearby lakes and are smoked according to time-tested tradition. Located in the middle of the Müritz National Park, CampingPlatz Ecktannen is the ideal place for a little break with your four-legged friend. Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is one of the areas in Germany with the most forests and lakes and therefore guarantees a relaxed and quiet stay where you can breathe deeply. The parking space in front of CampingPlatz Ecktannen offers all the service facilities you need as a camper, including excellent sanitary facilities. The location on the lake is of course ideal, and not just for owners - the four-legged family members have been thought of with their own dog beach.
Are you sure you will always have your bikes with you? A trip to the national park is almost a must. Excellent cycle paths lead along the lakes and through the forests. There is enough space here for the dog to run or take a bath. Herons, cranes, sea eagles or perhaps even beavers and otters can be spotted on the lake district.
Waren an der Müritz is only about 3.5 kilometers from the parking space. The spa and harbor town attracts numerous visitors with its historic old town. Numerous supermarkets offer the opportunity to do your weekly shopping. The colorful weekly markets in the area are of course an experience. Further information is available at reception.
