Space for caravan enthusiasts, campers and hikers...
With the construction of a spacious mobile home parking space and hiking parking lot at the “Alten Wasserhaus”, located just outside the town, the community has once again implemented a small step towards gentle tourism.
The gravelled site offers space for 8 mobile homes or caravans on two levels. High-quality stainless steel columns with coin slots for electricity and water as well as a disposal point for faeces are available. Sanitary facilities such as a toilet, a washbasin, a shower and a stainless steel sink were installed in the historic water house. They can be used for a fee; the key is available from the local mayor. The space can be used free of charge all year round!
A fire and barbecue area protected from view and wind is created parallel to the building.
The place is located in the middle of orchards and pastures, quietly on the Moschel stream near fields and forests, ideal for rest, relaxation and as a starting point for hikes and trips to the North Palatinate.
Six hiking routes with information boards on history, legends, geology, nature and wildlife also start from the square.
The square is signposted from the center of town. It is located right next to the little-used state road 379 between Waldgrehweiler and Gangloff, directly opposite the Windhof.

Darf man auf dem Platz grillen?

Hallo! Sie dürfen als Wohnmobilist bei uns grillen. Es gibt eine gepflasterte Feuerstelle für Lagerfeuer aber ohne Grillrost. Ansonsten ist Grillen auf den geschotterten Flächen möglich. Die Brandrückstände sind jedoch zu entsorgen und eine Brandbildung - bei der derzeitigen Trockenheit - zu vermeiden. Das man andere Camper nicht mit Rauch etc. stören sollte ist glaub ich normal. Einen geeigneten Grill müssen Sie mitbringen, wir haben hinter dem Gebäude nur einen alten, kleinen Standgrill zur allgemeinen Verfügung stehen. Falls Sie unsere Sanitäranlagen mit kleiner Edelstahlspülküche benutzen möchten, geben Sie kurz Rückmeldung zwecks Schlüssel. Hier fallen 10 Euro Benutzungs/Reinigungsgebühr an.
