Description RV park
Simple, very quiet parking space with a view into the Engelberg valley.
An ideal starting point for great experiences for two or with the whole family on foot, by bike/e-bike or paraglider in Engelberg-Titlis, Brunni, Bannalp, Wirzweli, Maria-R'bach, Stanserhorn etc. or on Lake Lucerne.
Access from Grafenort (Stans-Süd towards Engelberg) via St. Joderkapelle at Altzellerberg. Your pitch is located in the immediate vicinity of the alpine barn, on pastureland (paved), you usually have the surroundings entirely to yourself or share them with your neighbors as well as cows & chickens. Here you can admire the Engelberg valley and the mountain panorama, and go hiking, mountain or bike tours. Directly from the camp you can walk to Wellenberg and Eggiligrat, hike to Walenpfad, Brunni and Bannalp, enjoy the atmosphere in the St. Joder Chapel or conquer the paragliding paradise of the neighborhood.
Rarely are the nights so clear, the surroundings so quiet. Only the sound of bells, rustling leaves, chirping, the call of a night owl, a deer or a fox could disturb your sleep. If you are interested, we would be happy to give you an insight into our daily life on the alpine pasture and show you how our most reliable employee - an automatic milking robot - works.
An evening platter or alpine breakfast is available upon request. You have the choice of enjoying your meal directly at the camper, in the cozy "Ghirmi-Hittli" by the sweltering sunshade or outside at the large table.
You can get fresh water right next to the pitch, and hot water is available at any time at the stable or the alpine hut. Shower and toilet facilities are also located at the alpine hut. You can find a homemade composting toilet at the Ghirmi-Hittli. The Ghirmi-Hittli also contains a refrigerator with refreshing drinks, ingredients for spontaneous barbecues, or snacks for a light meal. In addition, there is a coffee machine with excellent organic coffee and homemade organic products from our farm.
Dogs are NOT allowed on the campsite.
