Description RV park
Camping De Wedze is nestled in a distinctive landscape with a view of a 13th-century church tower. The village of Twijzel is located in Friesland on the Leeuwarden-Groningen road and can be reached from the A7 motorway (Drachen exit) in 15 minutes.
Our small campsite has been open since July 2015 and offers 25 pitches. The campsite is laid out like a park in a rural setting. Our guests are mainly cyclists, hikers, and those seeking peace and quiet.
The nights here are still truly dark, often offering a beautiful view of the starry sky. If you'd like to gather in the cooler or rainy weather, you can do so in our lounge. Here you'll find chairs, a sofa, and other seating for guests to use. The cupboard contains books, magazines, and games, as well as many brochures and information on hiking and cycling routes.
Come and enjoy the Friese Wouden, the Achterhoek region of Friesland!
