Description RV park
The Las Raíces campsite is located on the southern slope of the island, at an altitude of 1000 metres, where fog and low temperatures are common.
The surrounding area is made up of a forest where species of plants typical of this humid area grow, such as bog oak, Canary Island holly and tree heather. These mix with Canary Island pines and shrubs with colourful flowers such as rockrose, tree mint or St John's wort. As for the fauna, finches and great spotted woodpeckers are the most common bird species, which can be found in the oldest tree trunks.
Due to its proximity to several towns, easy access by paved roads and the presence of many signposted hiking trails, this is a very popular area, especially on holidays and weekends.
Next to the campsite there is a leisure area that offers several services.
