Welcome to my cozy parking and camping site in the idyllic Geringswalde, in the heart of the district of Mittelsachsen. As the operator, I personally take care of your well-being and am happy to offer you a relaxing break in the middle of nature. The cities of Leipzig, Chemnitz and Dresden as well as important places such as Freiberg, Meißen and Zwickau can be reached from here in just 45 to 60 minutes by car - ideal for exciting excursions!
Culinary highlights nearby:
Just a few hundred meters away you will find the “Menu 2000”, where you can have inexpensive breakfast and lunch. Right next door, the “Karpfenschänke” awaits you with sophisticated home cooking and regional specialties. (Please note the individual opening hours!)
Exploring Geringswalde and the surrounding area:
In just 15 minutes on foot you can reach the center of Geringswalde with shops and, in summer, the outdoor swimming pool. The King Friedrich August Tower, the Auenwald forest and the Fröhne invite you to go hiking and cycling.
Culture and nature nearby:
In about 15 minutes by car or by bike you can reach the beautiful Kriebstein dam with its castle, open-air theater and harbor. The towns of Colditz, Leisnig and Rochlitz with their palaces, castles and picturesque town centres can also be reached quickly. Also discover the unique porphyry landscape with the Rochlitzer Berg and the town of Döbeln with the famous giant boot.
Cycling in nature:
The surrounding area offers numerous cycle paths, including the Chemnitztal, Mulde and Elbe cycle paths, which invite you to take long tours.
Fun for the whole family:
For family outings, I recommend the Karls Erlebnisdorf in Döbeln, the Sonnenlandpark in Lichtenau, the Plohn leisure park and the Belantis near Leipzig – there is something for everyone here!
