    Parkplatz auf der Wiese

    Es ist ein Platz auf dem es sich sehr gut stehen lässt. Es gibt keine Ver- oder Entsorgungsmöglichkeit. Die Anfahrt stellt Anforderungen, die am besten mit dem VW Bus gemeistert werden können. Mein 6m Van ging so gerade durch die Gassen. Essen gegen Stehen ist ok und die Preise für Frühstück und Abendessen sind angemessen der Qualität.

    Overall impression

    Stellplatz mit Blick über die Weinberge und Meran

    Wir waren mit unserem Camper für eine Nacht auf dem Parkplatz vom Schloss Pienzenau und es war ein absolut einmaliges Erlebnis! Abends haben wir hervorragend gegessen, sind morgens mit dem fantastischen Blick über die Weinberge aufgewacht um dann im märchenhaft verwachsenen Schlossgarten zu frühstücken. Klingt traumhaft? Ist es auch!
    Jeder der das auch vorhat sollte sich allerdings im Klaren sein, dass der Stellplatt ein normaler Restaurant Parkplatz ist. Sprich: Es gibt weder Strom noch Entsorgung oder so. Die Einfahrt ist auch nicht ganz ohne (bis zu einer Länge von 6 m aber mit ein bisschen Fingerdpitzengefühl machbar). Wen das nicht stört, ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen ist erstklassig, das Personal freundlich und die Location traumhaft.

    Der Deal: Wer über Nacht auf dem Parkplatz bleibt, zahlt keine Gebühr sondern geht im Restaurant (Nicht die Buschenschänke vorne, sondern das Bistro mit Terrasse) Abendessen und am nächsten Tag frühstücken (Buffet 15 € p.P.). Für Hobby-Gourmets wie uns eine Win-win Situation!
