In addition to untouched nature, in the Belgian province of Limburg you will also discover a multicultural region with a special mining history and lively cities!
In the middle of nature
EuroParcs Hoge Kempen has a fantastic location in Belgian Limburg, on the edge of the Hoge Kempen National Park and just across the Dutch border near Maastricht. So you can enjoy a relaxing holiday in the middle of foreign nature in no time. What is special about this area are the creative cycling and hiking trails. From the holiday park you can take cycling routes that lead directly through the water or along the high treetops! Hikers are also in their element here, as the challenging hiking trails start directly at the holiday park.
And yet close to the city
From the silence of nature you can drive to lively Genk in just 10 minutes. Discover the mining history of this town and its surroundings or go on an underground expedition in the C-Mine. The Pietersheim estate in Lanaken, a moated castle that has been restored to its original condition after years of restoration work, takes you even further back in time. The Limburg capital Hasselt with its Japanese garden and historic centre is also not far from the holiday park. If you are on holiday with your children, Plopsa Indoor is highly recommended. For a whole day of fun, you can take a trip to the playgrounds and outdoor swimming pools of the Steinerbos recreation forest.
