At EuroParcs Ruinen in the province of Drenthe, quiet nature and original overnight accommodation options come together. The spacious holiday park enjoys a unique location near three national parks in Drenthe, with the Dwingelderveld National Park in the backyard, so to speak. Nature lovers, but also families, can completely relax in the beautiful nature and the luxurious facilities of the park.

If you want to spend a relaxing camping or nature holiday in the Netherlands, you have come to the right place. EuroParcs Ruinen really offers everything your heart desires! From the park you can go on challenging mountain bike tours, find beautiful cycling and hiking trails and even go winter glamping in winter! In just fifteen minutes by bike you are in the heart of the Dwingelderveld National Park, the largest wet heathland area in Europe. Nature lovers will be amazed by the unique flora and fauna that can be discovered here. Explore the nature reserve on your own or with the forester - a walk to the numerous flocks of sheep during lambing season is particularly recommended.
Villages and dolmens in Drenthe
Visit the charming villages in the area around the holiday park, such as the village of Ruinen. In summer, there are several markets with regional products that invite you to stroll around. The old horse and sheep market, where a wide range of products are offered, also takes place regularly in Dwingeloo. There are even old burial mounds to discover near Havelete and Diever. The picturesque town of Meppel is ideal for a shopping trip and Giethoorn, the Dutch Venice, is just a stone's throw from the park. You should definitely take a canal tour here! But there is also a lot to experience in the holiday park. For example, there is an indoor swimming pool and a playground where the children can really let off steam.
