Description of the environment:
With a clear view of the greenery, you can start your day comfortably. While you're enjoying your coffee in the morning sun, the birds are chirping, in the distance you can see the container cranes of the bustling port of Hamburg, and sometimes you can even hear the cruise ships honking as they set off from Hamburg into the world.
In the morning the sun wakes you up, the rest of the day trees provide shade/partial shade. Our grassy area is flat and ideal for tents and vehicles.
We converted our garden shed into a small bathroom (see photo in the gallery). Here, guests without their own bathroom can also freshen up, take a quick shower and use the toilet. Running water is also available at our outdoor connection.
There are seating areas (including covered ones) on our property, rental dishes, and barbecues are permitted.
Activities? Hamburg! Our hometown simply offers everything. Lots of sights, culture, musicals, nature, sports opportunities and much more. By bus and train, you can reach the main station in 35 minutes, or even better, you can take the ferry from Finkenwerder and experience Hamburg directly from the water. You can get to the ferry by bus or comfortably on your own bike. By bike you can also cycle through the Old Elbe Tunnel directly into the city of Hamburg or explore the Altes Land, the largest fruit-growing area in Northern Europe. The Harburg Mountains are practically on our doorstep, ideal for hiking or mountain biking. There is sooooo much to discover, just ask us, we are happy to give tips and suggestions.
IMPORTANT: As of January 1, 2024, tickets will no longer be available from the bus driver. Either you have the Deutschlandticket or you download the HVV app, where the tickets are cheaper. https://www.hvv.de/de/app#accordion_44996 The 9:00 a.m. group ticket is generally recommended. This applies to buses, trains and ships for up to 5 people regardless of age. It is valid all day and costs 14.51 online. The ticket for an adult costs 7.25.
