The almost 95 hectare Melbecketal-Rübenkamp landscape protection area is one of the ten landscape protection areas in Lennestadt and awaits you with its unique beauty. Our farm is located in the Melbecke Valley, which is characterized by the stream valley with gentle meadows and wooded slopes. Ideal conditions for a hiking holiday or for those who want to discover the surrounding area by bike. Various hiking maps are available in the holiday home. And maybe you'll be lucky and see rare bird species such as the gray woodpecker, the red-backed shrike or the gray kite while you wander through the 120-year-old hardwood stands.
Destinations
From your holiday home you can easily hike to various areas or explore the numerous cycle paths. This also includes the Rothaarsteig long-distance hiking trail. The Olpe-Fahlenscheid ski area is particularly popular in winter. If you are traveling with your own vehicle, you should definitely take a trip to the
Galileo Park to the Sauerland Pyramids with changing exhibitions. Various museums such as the Siciliaschacht mining museum in Lennestadt, the South Sauerland Museum in Attendorn or the local history museum in Nethpen await your visit. In the 80-hectare Kirchhundem Panorama Park you will find a roller bobsleigh track, a wildlife park with various native animal species and many other attractions that will make your stay here unforgettable.

If you are traveling by motorhome, you can reach our holiday farm via the Olpe exit on the A 45. You first follow Bundesstraße 54 and change to Bundesstraße 55 in Hohl. In Lennestadt-Grevenbrück turn right and in Trockenbrück turn left onto Melbecker Straße and after a short drive you reach our holiday farm. Coming from the north, take the Meschede exit on the A 46 onto federal highway 55 and follow this to Lennestadt-Elspe and then Trockenbrück. Turn right here and then proceed as described above.
