Description RV park
The KNAUS Camping Park Burgen is located directly on the Moselle in the state-recognized resort town of Burgen. Here, in Germany's oldest wine region, the steep slopes of the river valleys are densely planted with grape vines. The area's winemakers are best known for their delicately fruity Riesling wines. The name of the municipality of Burgen is, as you might guess, influenced by the numerous castles in the area. The most beautiful way to discover the romantic and well-preserved buildings is via hiking trails through the vineyards, forests or the elevation via a mountain gorge path. The camping park has a boat and marina with a view of the romantic Bischofstein Castle. Thanks to the numerous barrages, the Moselle is also ideal for fishing and water sports such as canoeing or water skiing.
