Camping in the Altmark - In the Middle of Nüscht!
Our parking space is located at the gates of the small, natural campsite in Dähre, adjacent to the popular forest swimming pool on the outskirts of Dähre. For the new 2022 season, we have a parking space that leaves nothing to be desired.
The adjacent forest pool is a great leisure facility with a 50m swimmer, non-swimmer and baby pool. During the season, some attractive events take place in the pool. The campsite is ideal for families, but cyclists also like to take a break here to relax in a natural environment. Located near the Green Belt and directly on the Altmark circuit, the campsite in Dähre is an ideal stopover on your bike tour from north to south.
We also welcome large groups with lots of equipment. We offer the ideal conditions for fantastic tent camps that you will remember for a lifetime.
Motorhomes also have the option of standing in front of the gates of the complex.
The forest pool and the campsite have a very family-like character, as both are partly run on a voluntary basis. In spring 2021, the sanitary facilities were completely renovated including a barrier-free toilet/shower and family showers.

- Description of the environment: The Altmark church village of Dähre is located 18 kilometers southwest of the district town of Salzwedel on the Salzwedeler Dumme. The new municipality of Dähre was formed on January 1st, 2009 and consists of seventeen districts. The town of Dähre is one of the oldest settlements in the Altmark. Dähre was the seat of a provost as early as 1220, which indicates the historical importance of the settlement. The valley of the Dumme river and its tributaries forms the quiet Altmark landscape of the municipality of Dähre and its districts. The tranquil Altmark meadows and forest landscape is interrupted by cultivated areas that promise good yields. The northern parts of Lagendorf and Dahrendorf in particular impress with their gentle hilly landscape. Here you can find relaxation on the numerous cycle paths. On warm summer days, the Dähre forest pool invites you to relax. You can set up camp in beautiful nature at the campsite next to it.
