Description RV park

Paid pitches for mobile homes, caravans, and tents are located on the campsite grounds, directly adjacent to the Platsch recreational facility and the free-entry family park, the O-Schatz Park. Landscaped grounds on gravel lawns, signposted and lit. Sanitary facilities, a communal kitchen, and a recreation room with darts, table football, and board games are available. Barbecue area and campfire site are also available. Five additional free, unserviced pitches are available off-site. Season: April–October.

  • Description of the environment: Our campsite is beautifully located in the green, right next to the entry-free family park, the O-Schatz-Park. The historic city center with tower keeper's apartment, St. Agidien Church, city and weighing museum, town hall, shops and restaurants can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The campsite is located on the site of the European Youth Camp, a bungalow complex with 44 beds. Right next to the campsite is the Platsch leisure facility with an indoor swimming pool, outdoor pool, sauna village (7 saunas), restaurant and bowling alley.

    Kleiner beschaulicher Campingplatz

    Kleiner beschaulicher Campingplatz direkt am Freizeitbad "Platsch" und am O-Park. Terassenförmig angelegt.
    Zentralgebäude mit Sanitäreinrichtung und großer Gemeinschaftsküche.
    Alles super sauber.
    An jedem Stellplatz Ver- & Entsorgung.
    Nur wer unbedingt W-LAN braucht wird enttäuscht.
    Wir finden den Platz super.
    Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

    Overall impression

    Absolut i.O.

    Kleiner aber feiner Platz aus dem man etwas machen könnte. Leider wurde bei der Planung und Ausführung an manchen Stellen nicht zu Ende gedacht. So stehen bei voller Belegung zu weinig Toiletten sowie Wasch- und Duschmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung da die Nutzer sich gegenseitig blockieren oder die Reinigungskraft die Räume verschließt. Über den Waschbecken fehlen leider Ablagen. Der Weg von der oberen Terasse zum Sanitärgebäude ist weit und nachts schwer zu finden. Der Platz sollte besser vermarktet werden. Die Zufahrt zum Platz ist leider nur für Versorgungs- und Betriebsfahrzeugen gestattet.
    Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch einmal wiederkommen.
