The site is nestled in the alpine mountain landscape, between the Rätikon and Walserkamm ranges, with a unique view over the sunny slopes of the Walgau. Ideal for simply unwinding or as a starting point for various activities.
Important information for arrival: We recommend approaching via the town of "Satteins" - otherwise, the navigation system will guide you along narrow mountain roads.

A few minutes' walk above Schnifis is the picturesque village of Düns on the “sunny balcony of Walgau”. The Ice Age-modeled Flysch hillside with its terraces invites you to go on a hike with family-friendly paths.
In addition to an idyllic fishing pond, a well-preserved lime kiln and an old grain mill with a water wheel, the village has a worthy collection of old houses from the 17th century. Worth mentioning are the closed village center with a church and a cemetery worth seeing, the community center and the “Dünser Lädele” as well as a very well-preserved cultural landscape. The idea of viticulture, which was forgotten 100 years ago, has been taken up and wine is being grown again by private individuals.
13 running village fountains, some designed by artist Prof. Herbert Fritsch, testify to the abundance of drinking water. Small craft businesses and catering businesses are embedded in a functioning agriculture and forestry industry, which not only includes milk and meat production but also traditional fruit growing.
