Dear travelers,
Visit us at Gut Schwechow - Since summer 2022 we have been offering free pitches for motorhomes, caravans, camper vans and roof tents in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). Explore our distillery, take a seat in our cozy farm shop lounge or enjoy a coffee on our summer terrace. The extensive parks and ponds invite you to take a stroll.
In addition to our factory and our facilities, we would also be happy to introduce you to our produce and products, which you can find and purchase in our farm shop. There you will also find a large selection of wines and regional specialties. Please note the farm shop opening hours.
Almost every Saturday around 2:00 p.m. we offer a guided distillery tour with tasting. You are welcome to take part. During the week, our master distiller is also happy to take time for you.
Our pitches are located away from traffic, noise and hustle and bustle, directly next to one of our large apple orchards. There are more than 30,000m² of parking space available in complete peace and quiet. There is no restriction on vehicles. You are free to choose your seat.

Description of the environment:
Once a manor, today a factory for fine fruit brandies, spirits, liqueurs and gin: The Schwechower fruit distillery is located in historic walls on Gut Schwechow (built in 1229) and is located in the heart of the scenic Elbe-Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania River Landscape Biosphere Reserve.
The origins of the distillery go back to the 18th century. At that time, the estate received the “distilling rights” for potato schnapps. Today, spirits of high quality are produced here under the motto “Preserve tradition, shape the future” - including many in limited editions. The estate's own shop also offers high-quality meat and sausage products from local hunts, delicious jams, honey from the Schwechow apple orchard and many other - especially regional - delicacies.
