Camping ’t Zwaantje is located close to the Gendringen–Anholt (D) border crossing, on the Zwanenburgseweg towards Megchelen.
Do you love walking or cycling? Then you’ve come to the right place! The campsite is located just 400 meters from the Noaberpad. Moreover, free cycling and walking routes are available at the campsite.
Surrounding towns and villages
Megchelen: Our village has the beautiful Huis Landfort, a historic country estate with a flower-filled park and country house. Ideal for a short stroll or walk.
Gendringen (±1.3 km): In this village you will find a tennis court, the Engbergen nature reserve with walking and cycling paths, a petting zoo, and an open-air theater. A little further on near Voorst is a nice golf course for recreational golf.
Ulft (±3.2 km): Ulft has a tourist information office, a small shopping center, and the well-known DRU Cultuurfabriek, an industrial heritage site with hospitality, shops, exhibitions, and events.
Varsselder (±7 km): Here you will find Min40Celsius, a museum where you learn everything about the ice ages and the landscape.
’s‑Heerenberg (±12 km): Visit the impressive Huis Bergh Castle, take a beautiful walk through the Montferland, or settle down at the lively market on Thursday afternoon.
Doetinchem (±15 km): This city has a larger shopping center with nice eateries, various museums, guided city walks, and Slangenburg Castle. On Tuesday and Saturday mornings, there is a market in the city center.
