Description RV park
The Morcillo campsite is a facility located in a protected natural area that allows the development of leisure and educational activities in direct contact with the natural environment of El Hierro.
It is a limited and signposted area in the Frontera Natural Park for stays and overnight stays, depending on the infrastructure, in tents and/or caravans.
The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. However, the showers are only open for a few hours in the morning and afternoon.
Barbecue and fire pits
There are several covered barbecue and fire pits, seating areas with tables and water points spread around the square. Dried wood is stored in a hut and visitors can help themselves. In addition to a playground for small children, there is also a football field with goals.
Sufficient parking spaces available.
Unlike on other Canary Islands, registration is not necessary but is recommended in the summer months. The "reception" at the signposted "main parking lot" is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The overnight stay costs 4.32 € per person per day.
There is no supermarket and no restaurants! At the hut where the reception is located there is a coffee and drinks machine with the usual offerings.
