The Geesthof holiday and camping park
Our Geesthof holiday and camping park is located between Bremerhaven, Cuxhaven and Hamburg on a former castle site in the middle of nature, on a small river the Oste. Our holiday complex with old trees, ponds, meadows and adjacent forest areas offers many opportunities for activities such as cycling tours, hiking or day trips to the surrounding towns.

campsite
Our Geesthof offers shady and sunny lawns for caravans and motorhomes. With a size of approx. 100 m² - 150 m², the pitches are spacious and easily accessible. There is also a tent meadow with a small covered barbecue area, which guests are welcome to use. One of the two sanitary buildings is located directly on the tent meadow. There are also washing and drying facilities here.

Robber baron
On the foundations of the old castle, our team will serve you our own specialties. Our rustic ambience invites you to enjoy. We serve delicious cakes, delicious ice cream and fresh coffee on our sun terrace. For our little guests there is a sandpit directly on the terrace.

Ride
The heart of our holiday resort is our large riding stable with two riding halls, a round pen and riding areas as well as our 200-hectare forest area for horseback riding. No matter whether you or your children are getting on a horse for the first time or are an experienced rider – you will have a wonderful riding holiday! Around 20 horses and ponies are available for cross-country riding and riding lessons. We offer riding courses as individual and group lessons. You are also welcome to bring your own horse and keep it in one of our horse boxes. We also gently introduce beginners, whether big or small, to equestrian sports. Always with the goals in mind: safety and fun while riding.

fishing
Fishing enthusiasts are warmly welcome at the Geesthof. Even without a fishing test, you can gain experience with the fishing rod with us. We offer accompanied fishing for children and adults. The trout pond and lake are regularly stocked and offer beginners and experienced anglers a special experience of success. For experienced anglers we offer a section of the Oste River rich in fish. Reed edges, tide (low and high tide) and current present the experienced angler with special tasks and offer exciting fishing. You can get fishing permits at reception. Our fishing guide is available upon request.

More offers
The Geesthof also offers a bread roll service during high, mid and low season; rolls can be ordered at reception for the following day. The rolls are delivered directly to your holiday home or to your pitch in the morning.
Would you like to go on a bike tour but don't have your own bike? No problem! At the reception you can rent bicycles or dinosaur carts for a rental fee and explore the surrounding cycle paths at your leisure.
Our swimming pool with a swimming pool, a children's pool and a relaxation pool is ideal for swimming fun in bad weather. The water is heated to a relaxing 30 degrees. The small sauna area with a Finnish sauna and a steam sauna round off the feel-good moments. In the summer months our heated outdoor pool is open for you. Our nearby natural beach with fine sand offers sun worshipers, sand castle builders and peace lovers a place to relax.

dogs
Your four-legged friends are warmly welcome here. The Geesthof is a dog-friendly holiday park. Our offerings include a dog training area, a dog beach, an agility area and a shower area. There is plenty of exercise available in the adjacent forest area.

Holiday homes
Our holiday homes are embedded in a park-like landscape with many small ponds and old trees. We offer a variety of holiday homes, from small chalets to rustic log cabins to large modern lake houses. Depending on the type, these are between 35 m² and 100 m² in size and have two to four bedrooms for up to eight people. During our high season, arrival and departure take place on Saturdays; at other times, these are possible daily, depending on your wishes, with a minimum stay of two nights. Püttenhüpper
Our small passenger ship “Püttenhüpper” brings guests interested in nature closer to the river, fish and bird life on the Oste. Experience evenings on the Oste. The evening shine of the water and the setting sun bathe the river in a very special atmosphere.
Culinary excursions to Gräpel are also part of the Püttenhüpper's repertoire, which can also be chartered for private tours. The Püttenhüpper offers space for 12 people. We would be happy to help you plan your tours.
